San Francisco Cityscape…
I’m in Newport Beach working in my laptop, and just starting to go through a few of the photos I took while in beautiful San Francisco! There is so much to explore, everything is a picture, wonderful sights, sounds… and fabulous food!
With this image, I enjoyed working with a few filters from Topaz Labs, namely Topaz Detail – Desaturated Blush. I like the slight sepia tone that produced a nostalgic look. Filters can be a great way to instantly transform the look of an image. We cover many filters and Photoshop techniques in my BetterPhoto.com online course that starts next week, Photoshop – Enhancing Images and Creating Works of Art! This is a fun course, and you’ll learn a lot in the process!
April is also perfect for infrared photography! Time to dust off your old camera and send it in for infrared conversion. Try something really different! I had my camera converted to the new super color infrared filter. With this filter you can get creative with color, or go for traditional black and white. Digital Infrared Photography also starts next week at BetterPhoto.com. I hope to see you in one of my courses soon! Make great pictures! ~ Deb
Wonderful city shot. I’m loving the converted infrared camera. I surely backed into infrared, but I’m glad I did. Karol
Hi Karol – Great to hear from you! I’m glad you are enjoying infrared photography! Much better with the converted camera. Thanks for your comments this evening! ~ Deb
