Travel Photography in Peru, Woman Weaving…

This Peruvian woman has the greatest smile and is enjoying her work! She was making beautifully textured fabrics as I photographed her. To create a more three dimensional look with this image, I used a Nikon 50mm lens which allows for a sharp subject, and a softly blurred background. Getting close to the subject makes all the difference. This is one of my favorite lenses for travel portraits, and low light photography as it’s small, lightweight and fast. Happy shooting! ~ Deb
