The Great Smoky Mountains Photography Summit…
Thanks to those who attended my presentations at the 2nd Annual Great Smoky Mountains Photography Summit held at the beautiful Tremont Lodge and Resort in Townsend, Tennessee! The summit was a resounding success, the participants all had a great time and we were treated to phenomenal light conditions and fall color during the week. My presentations included long exposure creativity, infrared photography and how to create unique visual narratives during your travels. My field sessions included getting out to Cades Coves to photograph the gorgeous fall color, and a night session on stars and light-painting. I love making new friends and catching up with old friends! I finally met Charles Needle who is amazingly creative, and Dan Bailey, a fantastic adventure photographer out of Alaska, Kevin Adams, a phenomenal photographer, speaker and instructor, along with many outstanding instructors and participants! Each night we had the opportunity to sit by the campfire and talk about the day. Next year’s summit is already being planned, I hope you have the opportunity to join the photography, friendship and fun! Plan for next year… https://tgsmps.wordpress.com
