Big thanks for Bosque, Festival of the Cranes…

The old San Miguel Mission photographed at the blue hour in Socorro, New Mexico during the Festival of the Cranes.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone during my week of teaching at the Festival of the Cranes held in beautiful Bosque del Apache NWR in New Mexico! We had a great group of photographers teaching at the event, and equally great people at the expo. My presentations and workshops included long exposure creativity, infrared, HDR, artistic imagery, and we had a blast in my night photography workshops. It was chilly during my last twilight photography workshop, but the wintery weather was quite an adventure! My workshop group came away with awesome blue hour shots in downtown Socorro, including streaks of light from passing cars, and light painting the historic signs with colored gels. The photo above is the old San Miguel Mission in Socorro, one of my favorite places to photograph. Big thanks to everyone who attended my seminars and workshops, very much appreciated. Thank you to Hunts Photo & Video for helping to sponsor me. I hope to see everyone next year in beautiful Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge!
