All packed…

I’m all packed and ready to go! I’ll be heading to the mountains for fall color photography this week. Wish me luck!
Here is a quick tutorial on single image HDR processing, or “pseudo-HDR” images. This works great for images with anything moving in the scene, or if you just didn’t have the opportunity to shoot in HDR. It’s very easy, drag the Raw file to the Photomatix icon, or choose File>Open and choose your Raw file. Photomatix will process the single file as a pseudo-HDR image. You can use the Tone Mapping filter to further enhance the image as you would in HDR. After using the Tone Mapping Filter, try one of the presets in Topaz Adjust to complete the HDR look. Spicify is one of my favorites. Add a darkened vignette as a finishing touch, and to bring attention to the subject. That’s it! Make great pictures!
