Williamsburg, VA Workshop

Old barn losing boards photographed in North Carolina in infrared.

I’m on my way to Virginia to teach a workshop this week with fellow photographer Dr. Jason Odell. We are excited to spend quality time with our photography group working with new techniques, and building on current skills, and enjoying the interesting areas of Colonial Williamsburg. I’ve packed several extra infrared cameras so that everyone can try their hand at infrared. I’ve also brought along a Singh-Ray I-Ray filter which can work beautifully as well. We’re going to cover creative techniques, long exposure, HDR, panoramas, the use of textures, monochrome,  and we’ll cover working with tools such as plug-ins and filters as well. I’m excited to start the workshop, I can’t wait to meet everyone!

I’ll be teaching in Toronto, and in Ontario in August. I hope you can join me on a future workshop, or seminar. My workshops and presentation schedule is listed on the Workshops page of my website.

Deborah, thanks so much for the fantastic workshop with Jason in Williamsburg. I had a great time with the infrared cameras that you brought along. Now I KNOW I will have my old D80 converted.
