Shooting long exposures, twilight photography…
This is one of my favorite places to photograph locally here in Florida, the Monroe Harbor Marina. Photographing after sunset, and into the blue hour can be magical! The water can take on a glassy look using a long exposure. I hand held a reverse graduated neutral density filter briefly over the sky area to balance the exposure. If you want to read more about I shoot long exposures, check out the article posted on the Nikon Learn and Explore site. You’ll find lots of great info and photos on the site from many different photographers, and there’s an “app for that” Nikon Learn & Explore for your iPhone or iPad, so you can read on the go.
