5 Tips to Consider… Infrared Photography

elephant photgraphed in infrared

Infrared photography is a wonderful way to broaden your photographic horizons! Consider converting one of your older cameras to record in infrared. You have quite a few conversion choices, deep black and white, standard, enhanced color, super color, and super blue! The elephant photo above was photographed with a standard infrared converted camera, a Nikon D7000 and Nikkor 24-70mm lens. The image was converted to black and white with Nik Silver Efex Pro. Want some tips? Read 5 Things to Consider on Google+, or visit my Google+ page. If you would like to read more on the subject, please check out my book Digital Infrared Photography Photo Workshop on Amazon. For infrared conversion, try Life Pixel (code DEB) or Digital Silver Imaging. This photo was printed by Digital Silver Imaging and was shown at PhotoPlus Expo and Niagara Falls Regional Camera Club Council, they make exquisite prints! If you are going to be at PhotoPlus Expo, please let me know. I hope to catch up with you! More info on a photo walk in NYC soon! ~ Deb
